Monbeg Dude and Teaforfree could reoppose in Haydocks Grand National Trial

The entries have been published today for Haydock Park's Grand National Trial the Coral Welsh National winner Monbeg Dude owned by the a rugby-based syndicate that includes Mike Tindall among 39 horses entered for this 3m4f marathon.

Other notable entries are Teaforfree only beaten half a length by Monbeg Dude at Chepstow and the 2010 and 2011 winner of this race Silver By Nature who has been of the track since the 2011 Grand National and connections will hope to get a prep run into the popular run in preparation for a 3rd attempt at this historic staying contest that has been won by the likes of Cheltenham Gold Cup winners Cool Ground and Master Oats in the past.

This was also a race used in preparation for the great Red Rum's three historic wins in the Grand National and the son of Red Rum's late trainer Ginger McCain has entered his 2011 Grand National hero Ballabriggs along with Across The Bay and and Lively Barron.

Other notable entries are Big Fella Thanks, Cappa Bleu, Chicago Grey, Katenko and last years winner Giles Cross who in a thrilling contest got the better of none other than Neptune Collonges who went onto Grand National glory in his next and final start of his career.
